Superior Thread Collective

Superior Thread Collective is a newly established retail store in Duluth, MN, dedicated to Duluth-inspired clothing and accessories. They asked me to create a logo featuring an icon of Lake Superior that differentiates them from other local businesses. The design needed to blend modern aesthetics with vintage elements while ensuring scalability and versatility for various applications. I designed an abstract representation of Lake Superior, paired with typography inspired by classic outdoor patches. The resulting logo features a distinctive icon that is effective on its own and with accompanying text, establishing a strong brand identity. Additionally, I developed graphics and embroidery for their apparel and accessories, including pennants, all reflecting the same modern, unique, and vintage-inspired aesthetic.
